  This past week the Panthers traveled to Gulf Shores, AL to compete in the AHSAA State Track Meet. Despite vast temperature changes, strong winds and delays we had several good performances. The Pelham Lady Panthers took first place in the 2016 Shelby County Championships Monday night at Pelham High School. Pelham Girls Win AHSAA 6A Indoor State Track Championship

The Pelham Lady Panthers go on to win the AHSAA 6A Indoor State Track Championship at the Crossplex in Birmingham on Friday and Saturday. The Panthers scored 98 points to win the two-day event. The Pelham Lady Panthers finished in 9th place out of 41 teams that scored last Saturday at the Crossplex in Birmingham. The Pelham Lady Panthers runners up in the AHSAA 6A Track Championships in Gulf Shores, Alabama on April 30-May 2nd. Homewood was the 6A champions with 122.50. Girls finish 4th in Hewitt-Trussville Invitational

The Pelham Lady Panthers finished in 4th place in the Hewitt-Trussville Invitational this past weekend. The girls team finished with 72.5 points. Hoover won the event with 267.50 points on the two-day event. For Pelham, the highlight of the meet was the 800 meter relay team who won the race while setting a school record.

The Pelham Panthers finished in 4th place in the Mountain Brook Invitational last weekend at Mountain Brook High School. Homewood won the event scoring 154 points while Pelham scored 51.5 points.
