Hall of Fame
Bobby Hayes served as the Mayor of Pelham for 24 years. He was instrumental in developing Pelham into the city it is today. Mayor Hayes and Ms Judy have also been Pelham High School’s #1 fan and supporter. He helped in the construction of the original fieldhouse, the football stadium expansions, turfing and leveling the football field and track, the construction of the bleachers and press box at the baseball field; which is named after him, and the building and completion of the softball facility that is named after his wife Judy. Mayor and Ms Judy attended every football game, home and away, along with numerous other school functions during and after his tenure as our Mayor. In addition to Mayor Hayes’s unwavering support of Pelham City Schools, he also served in the following leadership roles.
